What styles of villa does White Villas offer?

In general, the majority of the villas we feature are privately owned and their interiors are usually a reflection of the owner’s personal taste. Whether it is a luxury Villa or a more country style Villa , all our Villas are unique and reflect the personality of the owner. We grant the high standards and quality of each Villa , as every each was inspected by our team.

Can I book online?

Currently we do not provide online booking. However, our agents are more than happy to help you anytime with your booking.

How do I make a booking?

Once you have chosen your Villa and entered your dates you can send us a request via the request form on the Villa Page. We will check the availability with the Owner of the Villa and will either accept or decline your booking (in which case we will suggest similar villas by email). In any case our customer service team will get back to you via email within 12 hours.

How will I receive my Confirmation and Arrival Instructions from White Villas ?

The confirmation and check in instructions will be sent via e-mail before your arrival date. To be certain you receive these e-mails, please adjust your spam filter to add the domain whitevillas.com to your list of accepted email addresses. You will receive a reservation confirmation after your down payment has been applied to the reservation, and check in instructions with exact coordinates of you Villa will be sent after the full payment of your reservation.

What is the required length of stay?

Normally a 5 to 7 night stay is required. Many villas do accept shorter stays, especially if it is close to your departure date. During the Christmas and New Years Holiday period, most villas require a minimum stay of 10-14 nights. Please contact us in order to assist you properly, even if you would wish less stays.

Can you send me a brochure?

The best way to view our entire collection of villas is online, however a complete PDF format brochure is available, please feel free to request a brochure and we will be happy to oblige.

If we want to book excursions or other services while in villa, is there anyone that can help us?

Our representative service would be more than happy to help you and can be contacted during office hours whilst you are in the villa. Our concierge team will be happy to assist you via email during office hours or on mobile number if it is an emergency.

What age qualifies as an infant?

An infant must be under the age of 2 on the return journey to qualify for an infant fare. Infants can travel on the lap of an adult on the aircraft for a nominal fee. Unfortunately, infants do not receive a luggage allowance from the airline.

Are your villas pet-friendly?

Pets are generally not permitted in most of the villas. However, we do have some properties where pets are welcome - please check with your Travel Consultant.

What are your Check in / Check out times?

Your accommodation is available after 3pm on day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on day of departure. The maid, gardener, pool man need this time to prepare the accommodation properly for incoming guests. Although you are not required to vacate your property before 10am please be aware that staff may arrive before this time.

Do you offer Baby Sitting?

Most of our Villas offers also the amenity of a Baby Sitter upon request with extra charge. Please contact us or our agent in order to advise you with any special requirements.

Disabled Travelers

We are not a specialist provider of accommodation for the disabled. Many properties are not equipped to cater for the needs of disabled guests and this may cause problems for wheelchair users. It is therefore essential that before booking you should inform us of any special requirements so that we can advise you of the most suitable property for your needs.

How do I get the key to the villa?

You will either be met at the airport or at the villa by a local representative who will give you your keys to the villa as well as a house tour to familiarize you with all aspects of the villa.

Can you arrange a chef during our stay?

Our team can arrange for a chef to tailor-made dinner party for you - please ask for a quote and sample menus when you make your booking. Everything that you wish can be arranged as long as we are aware of it in advance.

Do you have a Lost and Found?

Yes. If you forget something behind on your visit and we find it, we can hold it for you. If you contact us soon enough , we can arrange to send you the forgotten item at your address with extra charge.

_____Amenities
There is pool heating at the villa - how much does it cost and do I need to book it in advance?

Pool heating is an additional extra and, if it is available at your chosen villa, should be booked in advance. The cost varies dramatically from villa to villa so please call us for a quote. It is important to remember that if you decide to have a pool heated in the cooler months it will cost more than heating a pool in the summer months.

Will pool toys and sports equipment be provided at the villa?

Inflatable pool toys left by previous clients are normally removed prior to your arrival. You will also need to provide your own sports equipment (eg. tennis racquets and golf clubs) even if there is a tennis court at the villa or a golf course nearby.

Are the Villas non-smoking?

Yes, all of our Villas are non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted outside of the property.

How often does the maid visit?

If the maid is not included in your villa price, then this varies from villa to villa. So please see the individual villa description to establish how often you can expect to see the maid during your stay. Please remember that maids do not work Sundays or bank holidays.

Do we need to bring our own towels?

Every villa has a supply of towels for use in the bathrooms. Most villas provide towels for use by the pool but you should check the individual villa description or call our reservations team to check. No towels provided at the villa should be taken to the beach.

Will there be a hairdryer at the villa?

Hairdryers are not provided so please remember to take one with you.

Do you provide plug-in insect repellents?

Plug-in insect repellents are not provided at the villa, nor do we supply fly spray or ant powder but if you wish to take additional precautions you will need to take these with you or purchase them in resort.

I need a cot and high chair for my infant - will this be supplied?

We can provide one cot and one high chair but requests must be made at the time of booking. It is important to note that cots are often of the travel-type and unsuitable for children over the age of two. Please remember that cot linen is not supplied.

Will I be able to use a safe at the villa?

We are aware that some villas have safes but we do not advertise their availability or keep a record if one is available. Use of safes will be at your own risk.

Should I buy Travel Insurance?

YES! You've invested a lot of money, time and aspirations into your upcoming vacation, and Travel Insurance serves to protect that investment from cancellation, delay, loss, theft or disruption due to medical emergencies (on vacation or back at home).

May I tip the staff?

Tipping the villa staff is always welcome, although not always mandatory on most islands or locations. However, as is customary in the travel industry, recognition for a job well done is very much appreciated.

How far in advance do I need to book the villa?

The most popular villas tend to get booked several months in advance. Rule of thumb... if you are sure you want a particular villa for a particular time period, put a deposit on it. In most cases it is first come, first served.

Who do I contact in the event I have a problem at the villa?

Every villa offered by White Villas has a local housekeeper, villa manager, or local villa management company who is accessible round the clock to respond to any problem you might have at your villa. You will be supplied with their contact information, along with other important local phone numbers.

Is a villa a good idea for a honeymoon?

It's an exceptional idea! Villas are private and most come with private pools and hot tubs or Jacuzzis. Many of Greek Islands are incredibly romantic and perfect for your honeymoon. Combining the luxury of a private Villa with concierge services like massage therapies, dining in and many more , will make your Honeymoon an unforgettable experience.

Are the villas equipped with air-conditioning?

Some villas are fully air-conditioned, whilst others only have air-conditioning in the bedrooms. This information is available on the appropriate villa page on our website.

Is there internet access?

Most of the villas that we feature have internet access , however the connection speed, costs and equipment available varies from property to property. Please visit the appropriate villa page for information or speak to your Travel Consultant or contact us directly.

If we book a car through The Villa Agency, where do we collect it from at the airport?

The information for your car hire collection will be sent approximately 10 days before your departure. If you are unsure about any of the details please contact us. Please note that if you are collecting or returning your car before 8am or after 8pm there will be a charge of €20, payable locally.

Can you arrange for the hire car to be delivered to our property?

In most cases this is possible. Deliveries are during office hours 9am - 7pm, excluding lunchtime. The car hire company makes a small charge – please ask us for details.

Where will the taxi driver meet us at the airport?

If we have booked the taxi or minibus transfer to your accommodation the driver will be waiting in arrivals to direct you to your transport. He/she will have either your surname or The Villa Agency on a board. You may wish to tip the driver but this is of course at your discretion.

Can you book flights for me?

We do offer a flight booking service however most people seem to prefer to book flights themselves in order to obtain the best price and fly from an airport that is most convenient to them. We have extensive knowledge of which airlines fly from where and if you experience difficulties finding or booking flights, please call our reservations team who will be happy to help you any way they can.

_____Payment Terms
Are the rates per person or for the entire villa?

Our rates are for the entire villa; however, parties, weddings or large gatherings require written permission. Some larger villas offer lower rates for use of fewer bedrooms within the house. Villas may not be occupied by more guests than specified in the rental agreement.

Does a weekly rental always start on the same day each week?

Generally, in most of our destinations, you can arrive on any day of the week, as long as the villa is available. In Greece the normal arrival and departure day is Saturday.

What is included in the villa price?

The prices shown are per villa, per week. It includes the services of our representatives, maid service (as specified on the individual villa description), all linen (except cot linen), towels (except pool towels unless specified otherwise), air conditioning, Wi-Fi. The prices do not include car hire, transfers, pool heating, or holiday insurance.

When do I need to put a deposit down to reserve the villa?

In most cases, within 5 to 14 days of confirming your reservation, you need to provide White Villas with a check. A reservation is not considered valid until the deposit money is received. A valid credit card number is required on all reservations at the time that the booking is made to guarantee the reservation until a check or wire transfer is received.

How much of a deposit do I need?

50% deposit is required to secure your villa reservation.

When is the final payment due?

Time frames vary from destination to destination, but in general, full final payment is due 60 days prior to travel. When making a last minute reservation (within 60 days prior to arrival) 100% of your payment is due within 5 days of making the reservation.

What are the forms of payment I can use?

• Wire Transfer (client is responsible for wire transfer fees from both banks)

What are the cancellation fees ?

Again, these vary from destination to destination, but in general...Cancellation outside of 60 days of arrival will result in a cancellation fee of 20-25% of the gross rental price, and a cancellation between 60-30 days of arrival will result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the gross rental price, and cancellation within 30 days of travel will result in a full forfeiture of the gross rental price. Please check with your Reservation Agent for the specific cancellation policy on your reservation.

How can we pay for the security deposit?

The security deposit is 50% of the total payment and should be made with the balance, 8 weeks before departure. Providing there are no problems during your stay, we arrange to refund the security deposit 14 days after your return. In many cases, a credit card is taken as a guarantee for the security deposit amount, and the cc is charged only if there are damages or outstanding utility charges incurred during the rental period.

How can I pay?

Payments can be made by debit or credit card online or with a member of our reservations team over the telephone. Please note that credit card payments attract a 2% fee. Alternatively, you may prefer to send us a cheque.

What credit cards do you accept?

We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, UK Maestro Debit Card and Visa Debit Card. Please note that using your credit card is subject to a service charge.

Accidents
If I break something at the villa, or notice that something is broken when I arrive, what should I do?

It is imperative that you advise the house manager if you notice that something is broken so that they can arrange for the item to be replaced. If you break something, we would again suggest that you speak with the house manager as they will be happy to replace the item for you, paying them directly for the replacement to avoid a deduction from your security deposit. Please remember to ask for a receipt should you decide to claim on your travel insurance.
